I was taught to knit by my mother but it was when I moved to Nannup in the 1980s that I became interested in all things textile. Having a few acres, I was able to have a sheep and goats, so learned to spin ,experimented with natural dyes and began knitting beanies. Weaving was next, I completed a Diploma of Art in Tapestry weaving, and have been accepted in exhibitions in Australia and overseas.
My Knit wear and scarves are available from A Taste of Nannup, which sells unique local art and craft.
