Creations in a Teapot
Sarah Evans, an English ex-pat, has been writing short stories and novels since leaving the world of journalism in the late eighties to take up the ‘good life’ in rural WA and raise a brood of children, home-school and attempt self-sufficiency with her husband John.
She is published in a plethora of genres, in many forms and in several countries, from her inspirational lifestyle and recipe book ‘Seasons and Seasonings in a Teapot’ to crime and romance novels, short stories and poetry. She writes for the women’s magazine market and has had stories broadcast on ABC Radio. She also collaborates on songs with her singer-songwriter daughter.
A multi award-winning author, Sarah teaches creative writing, memoir and poetry for beginners. She is also the co-ordinator of the Bridgetown Words in the Valley Readers and Writers Festival.
Sarah’s novels include rom-com crime caper Operation Paradise and romances Bachelor Bid, The Dating Game, Prudence and the Mighty Flynn, Loving Aunt Lou, Collision Course with Love and Yesterday Once More and three short story collections; Call of the Wild (fantasy), New Blood (horror) and Killing Kindness (crime).
